Experiments for Physics 100
Published in Paperback by Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company (December, 1987)
Author: Conrade Hinds
Average review score:

A Master at making the hard problems simple to understand.
The Late Dr. Conrade Hinds was a true master Professor of Physics and Mathematics. He believed that a smart child was a child that had mastered walking and talking. And having a confident knowledge of Physics and Mathematics helped people to understand the way and means of our physical world and the universe. And for this reason both Physics and Mathematics should be regarded as great gifts to be given with compassion for the student as an individual naturally eager to learn. The western world and particularly the United States has many mathematicans but very few actual math teachers with a compassion for sharing. Dr. Hinds prepared this book as a simple road map and back pack for beginners to see how the study of physics and mathematics relates to their immediate surroundings.

Although this book is currently out of print I hope that the publishers would consider producing a new edition for the new wave of young minds that have been miss guided into thinking that these are difficult subjects to master. Dr. Hinds understood the Underdog's effort to get an education. He was from Panama and didn't graduate high school until the age of 21 after working as a carpenter to build his high school. But by the age of 37 he was Chairman of the Physics Dept. at Southern University. This book is a great gift to all who wish to learn about their physical world.

Get Along, Get Ahead: 101 Courtesies for the New Workplace
Published in Paperback by New Books Publishing (01 November, 2000)
Author: Karen S. Hinds
Average review score:

Great, positive information
Karen Hinds has finally given adults a compact but comprehensive system for getting ahead in the workplace. She gently reminds us why and how we must get along at work. I enjoyed reading this book on the train. People kept asking me where I got it and saying that they knew several people who could benefit from reading it! I finally started telling them where to get one for themselves AND their coworkers.

Hell's Hotel
Published in Paperback by iUniverse.com (August, 2001)
Authors: Charles L. Hinds and James R. Bobe
Average review score:

Captured up in the nightmare
This book was realisticly frightening as the author captured me up into this 'unrealistic' world of Hell. It is things that bad dreams are made of. Mr. Hinds descriptions are vivid and the tale spins and weaves, and entangled me into this horror story of death, life and those in between. The Hotel itself, contains different rooms where each dead sinner enters into to a new horror they have earned.
If you like horror this is a definate book to read!

India's Gupta Dynasty (Cultures of the Past)
Published in Library Binding by Benchmark Books (September, 1996)
Author: Kathryn Hinds
Average review score:

This book
This book is full of juicy information and is a wonderful book for teachers teaching their students. If I was a history teacher, I think that they should have a variaty of different books, this is specifically on the India's Gupta Dynasty. The Gupta Dynasty has traded with the China Han Dynasty and the Perssian Sassanid dynasty. I happen to be a big fan of the Gupta Dynasty.

The Last Aztec: An Adventure Novel
Published in Paperback by iUniverse.com (December, 2000)
Author: Charles L. Hinds
Average review score:

Captivation
I found this fiction novel interesting and fast paced, without the loading of sex in order to sell. The plot carried it along through areas of Mexico that do exit. It made me think about what actually did happen to the treasures that Cortez was unable to take with him.

Lock On No. 16 : Mi-24W Hind E Gunship
Published in Paperback by Verlinden Productions, Inc. (01 June, 1992)
Author: Francois Verlinden
Average review score:

FULL COLOR TOUR
Want to see a HIND E up close and personal (in full color)? Then order up this 36 page book that takes you around the outside, up into the engine compartments, down into both cockpits, and finally into the crew cabin. The captions do an excellent job of explaining what it is that you're looking at while also giving you a little developmental history. If you need more information on the other variations of the HIND then check out either Mike Spick's Mil Mi-24 HIND (Osprey's Combat Aircraft Series #14) or Hans-Heiri Stapfer's Mi-24 HIND In Action (Squadron/Signal Publications' Aircraft #83). For more on design, development, and tactics look for John Everett-Heath's Soviet Helicopters (Jane's, 2nd Ed). While those 3 books delve further into this spectacular aircraft, Robert Senkowski and Cezary Piotrowski deliver the visual goods here with Lock On #16. Where's my flight helmet?

Mil Mi-24 Hind (Combat Aircraft Series, 14)
Published in Paperback by Osprey Pub Co (January, 1988)
Author: Mike Spick
Average review score:

A superb but now dated study of the Mi-24 Hind
When I bought this book in 1988 I learned a great deal about this revolutionary combat helicopter. The book is still useful but the world has changed and it is now the most exported attack helicopter in the world and often photographed in the world's troublespots. What is needed is an update of "Mi-24 Hind". If not it is a very useful book.

Sew the International Wardrobe for 18-Inch Dolls
Published in Paperback by Krause Publications (April, 2001)
Author: Joan Hinds
Average review score:

Sew the International Wardrobe for 18 in. dolls
Like all of Joan's books, this one is easy to read and follow, and has great doll clothing ideas. Her patterns are easy to understand and always go together well, and fit American Girl style dolls to a T. I enjoyed this book because there are so many ethnic designs; it will be fun to find just the right fabrics to make them all. I highly recommend this book!
